Press Statement Against Ruffinism
 T

As you know that all political parties of Nepal have been wagging joint movement since May 4 against the Royal take over of last Oct. 4 demanding to reinstall people's rights assured by the people's movement of 1990. The peaceful movement turned as brutal than that of Panchayat Regime at the day of 13th May when police Lathe-charged on the peaceful demonstration. Dozens of leaders, cadres and innocent peoples injured seriously. They were beaten inhumane manner. One youth activist has lost his eye and still in the hospital bed.But the government media was still alleging the propaganda against the activists and movement. In such a fashion, all parties decided to publicize the daily news of the movement on fabulous Bagbazar-Wall naming it as 'Democracy Wall'. By the 14th May, there stretched editorial, programs of second phase, and martyrs photos of 1990 movement, press statements and news as well as the photos of the street fight and police belligerency. Yesterday 10th of thousands of students demonstrated on the street and thousands of intellectuals made strike at Ratna Park. Frightening with people's power emerging day by day in new version, yesterday night, the coward government ruffians as new version of Panchayat's Mandalites (Panchayat- Ruffians) has stolen and dismantled all banners, photos, press statements, editorial and parties flags.

ANNFSU as a street tiger challenges the coward ruffians to come face to face in the street and we demand to this government to stop such types of shameful act. We would like to request to all national and international institutions and media's to raise a voice for the protection of minimum democratic and human right. And we would like to inform that 'Democracy Wall' would be seen in black painting with the reinstallation of all previous news by tomorrow.Seeing you cooperative as before,
