All Nepal National Free Students' Union "Old News"::::::

On the theme of "Quality education, employment and equal opportunity in all social sector for women empowerment" the 5th National Plenum of Women Students was successfully concluded on 22-26 Nov. 2001 in Biratnager city. Central women department of All Nepal National Free Students Union organized this plenum. The opening ceremony of the plenum was inaugurated by standing committee member of communist party of Nepal (UML) Com. Modnath Pashrit. Plenum was chaired over by Manjushree Acharya the chief of women department and conducted by Kala Timalsina the secretary of women department. One hundred and fifty delegate and observer from all over the country were participating in the program. In the opening ceremony Bidhya Bhandari, Pradeep Gyawali, Guru Baral, Bhim Acharya, Rajendra Rai, Binod Dhakal and Naresh Kharel addressed their views and opinions and Narendra Baral delivered welcome speech.

On the occasion of this national plenum a training camp was also conducted for participants in different topics. The plenum has analyzed the ways of solutions and main problems of women students in the country. It has also evaluated the activities of women department and finalized the new program for women students.
