ASEED Asia attended Rio ⁺10 youth program in Tokyo in Japan from 6-8, Oct. 2001 organized by ASEED Japan. The program is jointly funded by Global Green grant Fund Colorado, USA. There were 40 youth from various states of Japan. ASEED Asia had presented its activities. ASEED Asia and ASEED Japan had joined meeting. In the meeting our activities are sharing with them. We talked more about Rio leave 10 year behind for Japan but ASEED Asia has different views then Japan. Rio is good for Nepalese people and environmental activities. The visit had established formal relation and strengthening relation with ASEED Japan.

ASEED Asia attended North American Association for Environmental Educator's (NAAEE) 30th annual meeting in Little Rock, Arkansas USA from 11-15 Oct 2001. As environmental book author Mr. Juddha Bahadur Gurung had attend the program. There were 400 participants through out the world. The program's travel support done by World Wildlife Fund for Nature Conservation (WWF) Nepal program.

National Coordinator for ASEED Asia Mr. Juddha Bahadur Gurung had presented national paper about Climate Change Signs Found in Nepal. European Youth for Forest Action and Rising Tide International Netherlands was jointly organized the meeting in Barcelona, Spain from 2-9 February 2002. It was very important gathering in term of relation extension. There were 150 youth from 27 countries of the world and sharing the experiences of environmental movement in the world. Most of the participants were from Western Europe and two organization were from Africa, One from South America, One from Australia, ASEED Asia from Asia had attend the meeting, Travel grant is provided by Rising Tide International Amsterdam.

After meeting, Mr. Gurung approached to few donors like the Both Ends, Friends of Earth International, Mama Cash Foundation, Novib and X-Y Foundation. Based in Amsterdam The Netherlands. With the cooperation of ASEED Europe we saw Friends of Earth International is positive with ASEED Asia' approach us. Both Ends also expressed their willingness to activities. Novib is lifting their program Nepal. Mama cash is supporting for women organization and X- Y Foundation is funding for radical student and youth groups of the world.

ASEED Asia Parbat Branch office had provided three days training about Safer Motherhood to 199 women representatives for six VDC of Parbat. The program was launched during the first half of the year 2002. Department For International Development (DFID) through Safer Motherhood program is funded for the program.
